I’ve been selling real estate since 2001 and in that time I’ve worked with most of the active Las Vegas builders at one time or another. Selling general/re-sale real estate and selling new construction are similar, but really are two different animals. As a Buyer’s agent in resale we are involved from beginning to end in a very hands on way, but with new construction, as a Buyer’s agent we take a very quick trip to the back seat as the builder’s agent really takes over every aspect of the transaction. This has always been very difficult for me as I am a very “hands-on” agent, and it is a challenge to simply hand over a relationship that I’ve cultivated for so long.
I recently had the good fortune to work with Jared Perry of Liberty Homes for the first time when clients I had been working with for well over a year set their sights on a home in Liberty’s Grand Verde Estates. We had visited several other new build subdivisions, a ton of resales and had begun entertaining buying vacant land and building their dream home. Fortunately, Liberty’s Grand Verde Estates hit all the right boxes from lot size, flexibility, floorplan and of course price point, so the search came to an end and we moved into that part where I cautiously step back and hope for a good outcome. Any concern I may have had quickly went away as Jared stepped in, stepped up and took amazing care of some of the nicest, most amazing clients I’ve ever had.
I really enjoyed my experience working with Liberty Homes, not something I can say about every builder I’ve worked with in the past, and would recommend other general Realtors confidently bring their clients to any of Liberty’s communities and for any folks out there that prefer to go directly to a builder, I would also suggest that you visit this builder and ask for Jared, you won’t regret it!
